What You Will Do:
Registered Nurse (RN)
Radiation Oncology - Supplemental/ Per Diem Day
No Weekends, No Holidays, No Nights
Under limited supervision, provides and coordinates care provided to patients within the Radiation Oncology Department. Serves as a fully effective and participative member of the Radiation Oncology patient care team. Demonstrates and models the full range of nursing practices in both care provided and in participation in development of strategies to improve patient outcomes, satisfaction with service and cost effectiveness at the departmental level. Is accountable to the patients and families for the processes and outcomes of care during their Radiation Oncology treatments. Patients served include adult through adult geriatric.

What You Need to Be Successful:
Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing or found by the Board to be substantially equivalent to the programs in Maryland.
Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Maryland (or eligible for same if nursing graduate).
Successful completion of a refresher course within past six (6) months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past five (5) years. Previous experience using a business office suite, such as Microsoft Office, is required. Previous experience in Radiation Oncology strongly preferred. Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
