The Lactation Consultant functions as a member of the multi-disciplinary team as a coach, consultant, educator, and mentor to patients, nurses, other healthcare professionals, and the community. Conducts bedside lactation rounds daily and consults with mothers having breastfeeding problems.

What You Need to Be Successful:
Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing. BSN preferred.
Currently licensed as an RN in the state of Maryland.
BLS certification
2 years of experience
Certified IBCLC consultant required
