Join us and discover why Modern Healthcare Magazine named us in its “Top 100 Places to Work.”Overview:Responsible for providing primary and/or specialty care services, including assessing and managing patients in the clinic following established standards and practices. Obtains complete medical history and physical data on patients.Interprets and integrates data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.Performs a complete physical exam and records findings. Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients.Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.Synthesizes data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention. Provides monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits.Orders and/or administers medications and injections in compliance with state law and clinic guidelines. Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions. Provides patient education.Interviews and advises patients regarding health and illness prevention. Recommends community resources to meet patient and family needs.Maintains and reviews patients records in Epic, and keeps inbasket current. Correct assignment of appropriate CPT & ICD-9 at time of service. Ensure capture of all charges in Epic.Has a basic understanding of HIPAA regulations.Qualifications:Education: Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program. Licensure: Licensed as Registered Nurse in state of Arkansas.
