The team may include various disciplines including but not limited to mental health therapists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, dietitians, substance recovery counselors, wellness coaches, and educatorsu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eOrders further diagnostic and laboratory testingu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eCoordinates care with other consulting providersu003c/liu003enu003cliu003ePrescribes psychiatric medications based on clinical indicators and results of diagnostic and laboratory testing as appropriate; monitors and documents members served response to medications and makes adjustments as appropriateu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eEducates members served and families about the benefits and adverse effects of prescribed treatment options.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eMonitors/reviews members served progress in treatment in collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
