Pegasus is seeking a Professional Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team as a float caregiver.

Our In-Home Care Division provides caring assistance to a number of clients of differing needs and abilities. In this capacity, you would be working on call to cover regularly scheduled caregivers' sickness or vacation, as well as assist when new clients are brought on care. At this time especially, we are looking to hire someone who would be able to drive, and would be available to work weekdays and weekends.
The Float position requires weekend availability hours can be supplemented throughout the week. They are also REQUIRED to drive to all clients in the Portland Metro Area.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The CNA we are looking for would be capable of performing a combination of following duties:
Provides assistance with bathing, dressing, toiletry, oral hygiene and other activities of daily living
Prepares meals and does some light housekeeping for the client
Transfers client to and from bed using a Hoyer lift and wheelchair
Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, food and fluid intake and output and weight, as directed.
Completes all documentation necessary in a thorough and timely manner
Other duties as they are assigned.
