Position Summary
Provides service and leadership consistent with the mission and vision of the Department of Pharmacy Services. Under the general direction of the Pharmacy Clinical Manager, is responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical pharmacy services, with a focus on internal medicine. Coordinates activities and assures competency of team members providing pharmacy services, including in transitions of care.
Qualifications
Education/Training
Pharmacy degree (Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy) is required.
Licensure/Certification
Must be licensed as a pharmacist by the Florida Board of Pharmacy or must obtain licensure within 4 months of hire. Once obtained, license must be maintained as active.
Experience
Two (2) years of hospital clinical practice experience with one (1) year completion of an ASHP-accredited residency, or
Two (2) years completion of an ASHP-accredited residency or Fellowship, or
Five (5) years of hospital clinical practice experience.
