As part of the Elite Emergency (ED) Nursing Float Pool, Registered Nurses deliver professional nursing care to all patients presenting to the Emergency Department (ED) providing holistic, individualized patient care in response to emergent, identified needs. Follows the Board of Nursing’s (BON) Standards of Nursing Practice utilizing the nursing process in care delivery. Maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions within the parameters of their legal scope of practice and in accordance with Emergency Nurse Association (ENA) standards; the federal, state, and local laws; rules and regulations; and policies, procedures and guidelines of Medical City Healthcare.
