Description - External

We are offering a new 15K sign on bonus for charge nurses!!   Discover the pride and joy of Virginia Mason.  Our Bailey-Boushay House is where Human-Kindness lives!  We have a new Charge RN opening at our Bailey-Boushay House. This is a 0.9 FTE (3) 12 hour shifts per week- Night shift!!.  This Charge Nurse role will also rotate every other weekend.  We do offer weekend differentials.  We also offer a relocation bonus!

As employees of Virginia Mason, our team members enjoy the emotional benefits of working at a nonprofit facility but are paid as hospital employees — a higher level of compensation (competitive pay and benefits) than the typical social service agency. Because of our highest staff-to-patient ratio of any licensed nursing facility of its kind, we offer more patient contact, more support for partners and family members, more compassion, more understanding, and more opportunities to smile.  This is the perfect opportunity for nurses who are passionate about providing care with dignity, creativity and respect.

Bailey-Boushay House provides compassionate, highly professional care for people with HIV/AIDS. Many of our clients also deal with chemical dependencies, mental health issues and/or homelessness.

Our programs for clients with HIV/AIDS include:

•A licensed, 35-bed skilled nursing home

•End-of-life care as part of our inpatient program

•A comprehensive HIV outpatient program

•Chemical dependency outreach services

•A homeless shelter and housing stability programs

More about Bailey-Boushay House:   Opened in 1992 as the first facility built from the ground up to serve people with AIDS at end of life. Over the years, we have continued to pioneer highly skilled, compassionate care for people with HIV/AIDS. We were involved early in offering promising new antiretroviral drugs and drug combinations to our clients. We understood that medications alone were not enough — people needed support of all kinds to help them stay on their medications, and we developed new programs to provide that support.

The “firsts” have continued, including starting the first HIV Outpatient Program in the Northwest and the first homeless shelter in the country exclusively for people living with HIV.As space permits, our inpatient program also provides end-of-life care for people with other complex conditions, including ALS, Huntington’s Disease and cancer.

Join us at the Bailey-Boushay House and be a part of the commitment to serving our clients with compassion and respect.  This is where you will discover your life's work.
