The University of Cincinnati Lung Cancer Center within the Division of Thoracic Surgery is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner to lead a newly established Lung Nodule Clinic. This clinic is part of the University of Cincinnati Cancer Institute’s Lung Cancer Center in the College of Medicine; a collaborative, multi-disciplinary group of lung cancer experts.   

 

Responsibilities include:

*Evaluate and coordinate the care of patients who are found to have incidental pulmonary nodules *Work with the multi-disciplinary lung cancer team to provide comprehensive and personalized care to patients *Coordinate care across multiple specialties *Maintain a comprehensive patient-tracking database *Run one 2-3 outpatient clinics each week *Help with program marketing efforts, including education of referring providers *Provide patient and family education for lung nodules and lung cancer *Participate in clinical research projects *Perform related duties based on departmental need 

Minimum Qualifications:  A Master's degree in Nursing and graduation from an ANA approved Nurse Practitioner Program. Three (3) years nursing experience. Current/valid RN license in the state of Ohio prior to start.
