We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work full-time on our Acute Stabilization Unit located in Providence, RI.  We are seeking an empathetic, caring, and energetic RN to deliver the best care possible to adults in various stages of recovery from mental illness, substance use disorders, and chronic medical conditions.  As part of our multidisciplinary team, RNs assess and monitor the psychiatric and medical needs of clients, provide crisis intervention to clients experiencing behavioral health issues, and conduct assessments as part of the admission process.  RNs are also Responsible for conducting detoxification protocols and administrating psychotropic medication.  All new nursing employees receive 20-30 hours of education on mental illness, psychotropic medication, trauma informed care, group treatment and crisis intervention as part of the orientation process. RNs are also eligible to attain certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional at the conclusion of the 3-month orientation training process. New graduates are Welcomed!
