**5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS
We are looking to obtain per diem Registered Nurses for Crisis Stabilization Unit in Providence, RI. We are seeking empathetic, caring, and energetic RN’s to deliver the best care possible to adults in various stages of recovery from mental illness, substance use disorders, and chronic medical conditions. RN will assess and monitor the psychiatric and medical needs of clients, provide telephone crisis intervention to clients experiencing behavioral health issues, and conduct assessments. Responsible for assisting clients to access medications needed for stabilization and educate on the effects of medication. Collaborate with ASU team, providers and families to provide comprehensive services. Evaluation of clients for hospitalization in crisis and this includes implementing a plan for safety as well as facilitating voluntary and involuntary hospitalization when necessary. There is also opportunity to teach and facilitate daily groups.
The Acute Stabilization Unit at Providence works from trauma informed care practice model. This model works to realize the widespread impact of trauma, recognize signs/symptoms of trauma, respond to trauma with knowledge, and seeks to resist re-traumatization.
Education/Licensing Requirements
: Seeking RN’s or BSN’s. RI RN licensure required. New graduates encouraged to apply! 1- 2 shifts per month!
