Our Progressive Care Unit serves a variety of patient populations with medical and surgical conditions that include cardiac, vascular, pulmonary, GI, GU and neurological just to name a few. Here you will find:
A fast-paced environment caring for high acuity medically complex patients
Exposure to a variety of patient populations
Opportunity to work closely with the unit dedicated provider group as well as multidisciplinary team
Growth opportunities such as preceptor, super users, champion, validator & charge nurse (and possibly include that our charges are also involved with the code blue team)
We utilize a variety of drips (diltiazem, nitroglycerine, nicardipine, amiodarone, precedex, insulin, etc.) and non-invasive respiratory support (high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP, CPAP, VPAP etc.)
The registered nurse provides high quality, skilled nursing services to assist patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following an illness requiring hospitalization. Through collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals, the nurse prepares the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care.

Current WA State RN license required.
1 or more years acute care experience preferred.
EKG Monitor Validation.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
