The Acute Stabilization Unit (ASU) is seeking a lead nurse. The ASU is a 16-bed voluntary inpatient facility. Located in Providence, the ASU provides trauma-informed, interdisciplinary behavioral health crisis care as a diversion or stepdown from hospital-based settings.
The right candidate:
Will supervise & support a team of approximately 10-15 full-time and per diem RNs and LPNs. This supervision and support is achieved via training and in-service, supervision, quality and process improvement (e.g., by writing policy and procedure), program design, and real-time consultation all in collaboration with unit and agency leadership.
Will possess 2 years of leadership experience in a multi-disciplinary, health or behavioral healthcare setting.
Demonstrates commitment to ensuring the safety and care of clients through a trauma-informed, equity-based lens.
