JOB SUMMARY

$18K sign-on bonus for this great opportunity for a CRNA to work part time ( with full time employee benefits) at a level-1 trauma center (Carilion Clinic) in Roanoke, VA.  Carilion Clinic offers pension plan, paid time off to include educational conference time, competitive salary, health insurance, dental, 403B, life insurance as well as other benefits.  Cases consist mostly endoscopy, orthopedics, general surgery, neuro, trauma, GYN, EP, IR, GYN, ENT.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.  Graduate of a Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA) accredited school of nurse anesthesia education.

Licensure/Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner-Nurse Anesthetist in the State of Virginia.  Current certification or recertification as an active, practicing nurse anesthetist as granted by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).

Maintain current American Heart Associated (AHA) approved BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Other:  Good communication and interpersonal skills.
