The Registered Nurse - RN Supervisor supports the Director of Nursing to ensure the delivery of high quality care to achieve positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction. Position HighlightsReport to the Director of NursingLead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift including ensuring compliance with Genesis policies and procedures, practice standards and regulations. *Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processesCollaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care with an emphasis on limiting use of overtime and agency personnel.Participate in staff mentorship, recruitment, new hire orientation and recommend employee promotions, transfers and terminations. REQUIREMENTS: * A graduate of an approved school of nursing is required and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing * CPR Certification * One to three years of experience working as a RN in a related setting is preferred. *To protect the health and safety of our patients, residents, employees, family members, and the communities we serve, Genesis has implemented a universal COVID-19 vaccination requirement for employees, care partners and onsite vendors.
