Description

The Clinical Vendor Management Lead works as clinical liaison between vendors and organization. The Clinical Vendor Management Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Vendor Management Lead reviews and communicates with vendors to regarding day-to-day matters looking at clinical metrics and standards, HEDIS measures, quality improvement initiatives and improvement plans.

Builds and maintains positive relationships with vendors and monitor vendor performances.

Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.

Coordinates quarterly clinical JOCs and monthly operational meetings.

Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision.

Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and an unrestricted RN license in the state of Florida, Licensed Masters Level Social Worker in the state of Florida without restrictions or other clinical experience based on vendor management experience.

2 or more years of project leadership experience.

Progressive operational experience.

Demonstrated experience working in a metric-intensive operational unit.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, presentation, written and oral communication skills.

Ability to influence and build relationships with individuals of all levels of the organization internally and externally.

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Must have a room in your home designated as a home office; away from high traffic areas where confidential information may be secured.

Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Medicaid experience.

Prior experience managing clinical vendor management relationships.

Certification with Six Sigma and/or the Project Management Institute.

Typical Work Days/Hours:

Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm EST.

Interview Format
